Sony Entertainment Television is to enthral viewers with Indian Idol: Legends Return, promising an episode filled with powerful performances. The premiere episode will witness an emotional musical moment as duo Salman Ali and Mohammad Danish deliver a soulful rendition of ‘Main Jahaan Rahoon,’ leaving judge Himesh Reshammiya deeply moved. The performance brought back cherished memories of his late father, making for a heartfelt moment on the show.
Following their performance, Himesh said, “Fabulous.. aaj yeh gaana wapas suna toh sorry, main thoda emotional ho raha hoon. Mere dad nahi hain aur yeh unka bhi favourite gaana tha. Suddenly tum logon ne yeh gaana gaya, aur unke saath judi hui yaadein saamne aa gayi. Mere liye toh woh hamesha mere saath hain, lekin har insaan relate kar sakta hai ki jo log humare bahut kareeb hote hain, jab woh humse door chale jaate hain, toh unki yaadein hamesha humare saath rehti hain. I love you, Dad. I miss you a lot. Woh bhi mujhe dekh rahe honge, toh shayad unhe achha nahi lag raha hoga ki main emotional ho raha hoon, but I really miss him.”
The heartfelt moment highlighted how music can transcend performances and bring back deeply personal memories, resonating with anyone who has experienced the loss of someone close.
