Madhuri Dixit is winning hearts with her warmth and effortless charm as the host of Sony Marathi’s Kon Honar Crorepati. Between the questions and the excitement of the game, her candid conversations with contestants and celebrity guests are giving viewers a glimpse of her personal side, making each episode feel that much more special. This weekend, there’s plenty of laughter in store as the team of Maharashtrachi Hasya Jatra joins her for a special episode. During their chat, Madhuri reveals that she loves watching Namrata Sambherao as Lolly, much to Namrata’s delight! The much-loved character has inspired fan art and celebrity recreations, with choreographers Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis previously joining the fun through a reel. Now, Madhuri adds her own touch by recalling Lolly’s dentist sketch and, with a little encouragement from Namrata, recreating the character’s popular dialogue!

Madhuri says, “Mala te khupach aavadte!” (“I really love it!”) as the conversation turns to Lolly. An excited Namrata asks, “You’ve watched my character?” Madhuri immediately responds, “Yes, yes!” and recalls the dentist sketch. She then enacts Lolly’s viral dialogue, saying, “Meri aankhon mein jhaanko!”

The conversation also offers a peek into how Namrata created the character that audiences have grown so fond of. From her unusual hairstyle to her confidence while speaking English, Lolly draws on little details Namrata observed around her while growing up. Explaining the inspiration, Namrata reveals, “I grew up in a chawl in Lalbaug, where I picked up on different expressions and ways of speaking. Our writers and creative team are always trying to find something distinctive for every character. I came up with Lolly’s hairstyle myself because I wanted her to look different. She speaks a little English, but she has complete confidence that she speaks it well! The character came together by borrowing little things from here and there and exaggerating them.”
